How big is your Internet footprint?SM
Well it turns out that the question "How big is your Internet footprint?" had only been posed once on the Internet prior to my starting this project. All I could find was a single Yahoo hit pointing to a Livejournal Blog. It was there on December 10, 2001 that a user named (perich) raised the question. A current (May 2007) YGAMS of "John Perich" came up with a value of ~372. It turns out there are several John Perich's including one KIA 7/22/66 in Operation Hastings. The John Perich I am referring to posted: "How big is your Internet Footprint? I did a search for 'John Perich,' and SkinnySamurai was the first thing that appeared. There's nothing available by Google search that I'm really embarrassed of, although there are a few things I might have to explain someday (e.g., people at BC, parents, future employers, etc). And, of course, if/when martial law is imposed, the tamer anarchist diatribes found under my name will make things awkward." This confirms a thought I have had for years, one should not post anything in clear text over the Internet that could not or should not be written on a postcard. There was literally nothing, noda, zip else that could be found on any of the other YGAMS supported search engines about this question. It has been at the center of this project from the beginning. It quickly became a no-brainer that this was to become a definitive Salesmark for the YGAMS project and related services.
