The fluid nature of the ever changing Internet pretty much requires each of the search engines develop their own methods of determining what gets indexed and what is skipped or for that matter combined with other listings to reduce duplication.
One of the key factors used in the calculation of a YGAMS™ score is the ability to normalize it's results based on the current size of the indexed Internet. These values are calculated daily based on results from each of the major search engines.
The Index Relevancy value represents the percentage each search engine contributes to an overall YGAMS score. Sometimes this is displayed as a simple percentage in text, while in some charts this relationship is presented with fill colors using the following Color Key.
